
Substance Use Disorder Treatment
We offer an Intensive Group Counseling schedule consisting of a minimum of 6 hours of counselor-led sessions per week. These groups utilize evidence-based curricula to help clients identify high-risk triggers, develop cognitive-behavioral coping strategies, and establish a stable foundation for recovery while meeting rigorous court mandates to help avoid relapse and negative consequences.
Our Supportive Group Counseling schedule provides a minimum of 4 hours of counselor-led sessions per week. This level of care focuses on long-term relapse prevention, life skills, and successfully navigating the transition from the justice system back into a healthy, drug-free lifestyle

Anger Management
The Anger Management Program is a 12- week virtual program designed to help individuals identify the reason for their feelings and explore the roots of their anger which may be buried in emotional trauma, addiction, grief, or other issues. It is also designed for individuals to identify their anger and violence issues and recognize how anger can become an addiction. The goal of anger management is to teach people how to examine their triggers to reduce and control anger outburst, to reduce stress and to avoid negative consequences.

Batterers Intervention and Prevention Program for Men (BIPP)
Ordered Steps to Recovery’s Batterers Intervention and Prevention Program meets the Texas State Guidelines of BIPP Programs and is fully accredited by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Our in-person/hybrid/virtual (18 – 24 week) BIPP Program is designed to help batterers understand the negative impact of intimate partner violence, their actions and how they alone can control their behavior and bring social change necessary to end battering and increase victim safety so that they can live life free from violence.
We cover a variety of topics including power and control, honesty, accountability, non-threatening behavior, negotiation and fairness, partnership, sexual respect and many others. BIPP is not anger management.

Family & Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention Program (FDVIP)
Ordered Steps to Recovery’s Family & Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention Program is geared towards those who have committed physical violence against family members and close friends. Our in-person/hybrid/virtual (18 – 24 week) FDVIP Program is designed to help participants understand their actions and how they alone can control their behavior and bring social change necessary to end domestic violence and increase victim safety so that they can live life free from violence.
We cover a variety of topics including power and control, honesty, accountability, non-threatening behavior, negotiation and fairness, partnership, sexual respect, negative impact on family relationships and many others.

DWI Education (Court Ordered Course) TDLR #1814
Ordered Steps to Recovery’s DWI Education Program is TDLR certified and approved. Our 12-hour DWI Education program is mandatory for anyone charged with a 1st offense or obstruction of a highway who is convicted and sentenced to community supervision (e.g., probation or deferred adjudication).
Specific course topics include drug and traffic safety problems, Texas laws relating to DWI, effects of drugs on humans, drugs and driving task abilities, chemical dependency, symptoms of dependency, sources of assistance, costs of DWI, and decision making.
