About This Course

Ordered Steps to Recovery’s Batterers Intervention and Prevention Program for Men is designed to help participants understand the impact of abusive behaviors and take responsibility for making lasting changes.

The program meets Texas State Guidelines for BIPP programs and is fully accredited by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Through structured education, guided discussion, and accountability-based curriculum, participants are encouraged to examine patterns of power, control, and harmful decision-making.

This program focuses on increasing victim safety, promoting personal accountability, and helping participants develop healthier relationship dynamics built on respect, honesty, fairness, and non-violence.

BIPP is not anger management. While anger may be discussed, the program focuses more deeply on patterns of control, choice, responsibility, and behavior change.
